F.U.B.A.R. Roller Jam: July 8, 12-6pm, Robson Square

Friends United Beyond All Race is proud to present the first F.U.B.A.R. Roller Jam! Robson Square’s skating rink will be magically transformed into a classic roller disco on July 8 from 12-6pm with family roller skating, old-school soul, funk and R&B music, and a fun, retro vibe. The event will also feature dance and musical performances, food vendors, face painting, prize draws, and more.

Admission by donation (min. $10). Proceeds go to Make-A-Wish BC & Yukon, whose mission it is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions giving them hope, strength and joy. Glow Sticks & Make-A-Wish Stars will also be available for purchase for a minimum donation of $20.

All-ages skate from 12-2pm. This will be a slower-paced skate with lots of help to keep things safe. **Please note all kids under 10 MUST wear a helmet.**

The 2-6pm skate will be for skaters 10yrs and up, but it will be a faster-paced skate that will include grown up advanced skaters, so it’s not recommended for brand new skaters. Beginners should stick to the 12-2pm skate.

Limited adult skate and gear rentals will be available. (Sorry, no kids’ rentals available).

If you are unable to attend, you can still donate. Go to makeawishbc.ca/donate and select “In Honour Of,” then type in the box “F.U.B.A.R. Roller Jam”. If you donate online you will receive an auto-generated tax receipt & thank you from Make-A-Wish BC & Yukon directly.

❤️ Kindly sponsored by RollerGirl.ca and Shop Task Skates ❤️
